Dublin Start-Up Web Summit

Trackage Scheme announces that it has been selected to attend the annual ALPHA Start-Up Track Web Summit in Dublin at the RDS Main Arena from November 3-5. TS will be joining  the founders of Slack, Stripe, Pixar, Tinder, OnePlus and more in Dublin.

“We”re honoured to have been chosen from the thousands of start-ups. When we applied a few months back, we just figured why not? We”ve got nothing to lose, without thinking too much of it. But once we delivered a presentation explaining what TS is all about, what we”ve achieved to date and what our vision is, we received very good feedback. A few days later we received an email telling us that we were one of the start-ups that was chosen and we were ecstatic” said Ben Vincenti.

It is the meeting place for the most interesting tech companies across all sectors, stages and geographies. It’s the “Davos for Geeks”. Over a three-day programme of networking, learning and storytelling, the world’s most cutting-edge startups, the most experienced investors and the most exciting speakers will mingle and connect in Dublin. In 4 years, Web Summit has grown from 400 attendees to over 22,000 from more than 110 countries. It’s been called “the best technology conference on the planet”. The attendees range from Fortune 500 companies to the world’s most exciting startups.

“The team is looking forward to attending talks, workshops and mentorship sessions with key individuals and organisations, not only in the music industry but also from other relevant sectors. For example, we will be having a 1-on-1 mentorship session with ”Google for Entrepreneurs” which will definitely enhance our knowledge and skill-set in order to continue developing the web platform. Also, more than anything, we”re excited to share our story with influential people with similar passions. Through this summit, we hope to build new relationships with the ultimate aim of showcasing Maltese alternative artists in an international spotlight” said Ben Vincenti.

Trackage Scheme’s (TS) aim is to bring together the disparate strands of Malta’s eclectic scene under one roof. By facilitating access to information about artists, collaborating with individuals and institutions to promote Maltese music locally and abroad, coordinating marketing strategies and hosting events,  TS will increase the visibility of Maltese music in the international sphere, and provide an essential one-stop resource for all interested parties.
