Jonathan Camilleri
Jonathan Camilleri is an ambient, experimental and orchestral artist based in Malta. Even though his music is exclusively home recorded, it ranges from minimalistic melancho-meditative piano pieces, to electronic and ambient music all the way up to ambient soundscapes. Additionally, Jonathan plays the Violin, Guitar and Bass Guitar and evidently enjoys a love for the combining of orchestral/symphonic sounds with elements of rock and metal.
Jonathan has a deep passion for philosophy and his music is a tribute to that. Being able to find emotional release through music is something he understands all too well. While main inspirations include Hans Zimmer, Michael Nyman, Kammarheit and Nightwish, he hopes to one day be given the opportunity to score movies.
