When Trackage Scheme started back in 2016, it was a simple idea: give Malta’s alternative music scene a home online. A place where local artists could be discovered, where gig-goers could find their next show, and where the underground didn’t have to feel so underground.
Over the years, that idea grew — from a blog and event listing into something much bigger. But as the scene evolved, we knew we had to evolve with it. So we did something a little crazy: we rebuilt everything from scratch.
Why We Started Over
The honest answer? Because you deserve better.
Malta’s music community has always punched above its weight. The talent is there. The energy is there. The dedication of organisers putting on shows week after week — that’s real. But the tools available to them? Not always up to the task.
We looked at what we had, and we looked at what the community needed, and the gap was too big to patch. So we rolled up our sleeves and built something new — from the ground up.

trackagescheme.com has been completely redesigned. It’s faster, cleaner, and built to grow with us. You’ll find:

- Music Lessons — We’re connecting students with music teachers across Malta. Whether you want to learn drums, piano, guitar, vocals, or production — we’re building the bridge.

Trackage Ticketing
This is the big one.
tickets.trackagescheme.com is our new event ticketing platform — built specifically for Malta’s music organisers. No more wrestling with platforms that weren’t designed for us.
