Saturday, 14 March — The Garage, Żebbuġ

An immersive Heavy Metal gathering inspired by the ominous symbolism of the Ides of March, this is more than a concert—it's a ceremonial convergence of history, myth, and extreme music. Headliners include Greek black metal pioneers Varathron, Italy's Darkend, and Malta's own Killerwitch. Doors open at 8:00 pm.

ONE HUNDRED MILES: A Tribute to Miles Davis

Sunday, 22 March — Teatru Manoel, Valletta

Pay homage to jazz legend Miles Davis at this specially curated tribute concert in one of Europe's oldest operating theatres. A perfect mid-spring date for jazz heads and newcomers alike wanting to experience smooth, sophisticated improvisation in an intimate, historic setting.

Malta Spring Festival

7–11 April — Multiple venues across Valletta

An annual classical and contemporary music festival known for its innovative programming and commitment to new orchestral and chamber works. The festival takes place in different venues in Valletta, with this year's theme being: A Radiant Future. The festival features evening concerts, chamber recitals, and multidisciplinary performances incorporating dance and other art forms, hosted in a variety of historic venues across Valletta, including Teatru Manoel. This is a heavyweight week for classical music lovers.

Bloom Festival Malta 2026

17–19 April — Ta' Qali National Park, Attard

This is a three-day boutique celebration of music, culture and community at Ta' Qali National Park. Expect local & international artists across four unique stages, the Bass Grove powered by Mistical Sound System (Sicily), plus artisan markets, a dedicated wellness area and camping under the Mediterranean sun. Across multiple stages, expect a powerful blend of Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, UK Bass, House, Techno, and Live Bands, featuring a carefully curated lineup of international artists, local talent, and unique live experiences. The Phase 1 lineup features Hempress Sativa & Paolo Baldini, O.B.F x Charlie P & King Shiloh alongside a carefully curated selection of local and international artists.

Dark Malta Festival 2026

17–19 April — Gianpula, Haz-Zebbug

Malta's festival for the darker side of music and culture runs 17–19 April 2026. Expect gothic, industrial and metal bands plus alternative fashion and art exhibits. This runs simultaneously with Bloom Festival, so if you're into heavier, more alternative sounds, this is your alternative gathering celebrating the darker aesthetics of underground music and culture.
