Rong Open Air Festival

May 7–10 — St. Paul's Bay

Rong Open Air Festival returns to St Paul's Bay, Malta for four days of sun, sea, and pure Trance and Progressive energy. With over 60 artists confirmed, the line-up features Ben Nicky, Maddix, Solarstone, Billy Gillies, The Space Brothers, Will Atkinson, and 13 RONG Malta debuts. Across four unforgettable days, dance music fans will experience a packed schedule of open-air club events, sunset parties, boat parties, pool parties, beach parties and more, all set against the breathtaking Mediterranean backdrop of Malta's coastline.

June 4–7 — St. Paul's Bay

This year, the event will be held from June 4-7, 2026. The festival promises to be a spectacular celebration of music and culture, bringing together people from different parts of the world to enjoy some of the best talent music has to offer. The return to Malta promises an incredible four full days of non-stop music, dance, and entertainment! With an electrifying atmosphere and unforgettable performances to be expected, DLT: Malta promises 2026 to be another one for the record books.

Earth Garden

June — Ta' Qali National Park

Held every June in Ta' Qali National Park, Earth Garden is Malta's top alternative music festival. With five eclectic stages, a mix of live bands and electronic acts, beach parties, boat cruises, and wellness workshops, it offers four days of pure festival magic. The 2026 edition moves into a previously unused wooded area of the park, bringing the event literally under the trees for the most immersive version yet. Five stages cover World Music, Techno, House, Dub, Drum & Bass, Funk, Ska, Hip-Hop and Psychedelic Trance alongside workshops, talks, chill-out zones and a redesigned Camping Village. Recognised twice as one of Europe's top 20 festivals, Earth Garden blends live performances, electronic music, sun-soaked beach parties, sunset boat cruises and eco-conscious community spirit across three days and nights.

Festgħana

May 21–24 — Multiple venues

Festgħana, which will take place between 21 and 24 May, is a the national festival dedicated to għana, featuring several prominent għannejja as well as the Aurora Folk Group, the Baltic Sisters and Kevin Borg. Through Festgħana we will celebrate the heritage of Maltese għana with a renewed vision of a festival that has a history of almost 30 years. We are doing this in the context of the inclusion of Maltese għana on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Festgħana is indeed a festival with deep roots.

Malta International Arts Festival

June 12–21 — Various venues

The Malta International Arts Festival returns between 12 and 21 June with various artistic genres such as visual arts, theatre, contemporary and classical music, as well as dance. The programme includes various performances by local and international artists, as well as collaborative elements from members who are part of various artistic communities. The festival runs for 15 days between June and July and presents a varied and multi-disciplinary arts programme that embraces music, visual arts, theatre, dance, opera, installations, films, community projects, and interactive and participatory events that explore and build upon cultural heritage. Drawing audiences during the height of the Maltese summer, the festival revels in Malta's unique historical and geographical setting by featuring site-specific productions with performances staged by such distinctive sites as Neolithic temple sites, Baroque architecture and the stunning Grand Harbour.

Valletta Waterfront Wine Festival

June 11–13 — Valletta Waterfront

From the 11th to the 13th of June 2026, the iconic Valletta Waterfront transforms into a lively celebration of wine, culture and summer evenings. The Valletta Waterfront Wine Festival offers the perfect opportunity to unwind after class and soak in the Mediterranean charm that makes Malta a top destination for students and travellers alike.
